* Lenten series topic is "The Church and the Holocaust".  We will utilize videos, lecture, and discussion to delve into how Christian anti-Jewish sentiment fed the hatred of the Third Reich.

The program is held in the Chapel and follows "Soup and Sandwich" in the Conference Room.  Soup, coffee, and tea will be provided; just bring a sandwich or whatever else you choose.

The soup dinner begins at 6:00 PM.  The Lenten program/service begins at 7:00 PM until approximately 8:15 PM.  Choir practice will be immediately after the Lenten service.  (Note:  NO choir practice on March 23, 2011.)

If you wish to volunteer to make soup for the "Soup and Sandwich" hour on one of these Wednesday evenings in Lent, please contact the Church Office.  Thank you.

In the Event of Inclement Weather ...
If snow or ice necessitate the canceling of worship or other activities at St. John's, please tune into WFMZ-TV, channel 69.  That station is kind enough to list all cancellations as a "crawler" at the bottom of their telecasts.  Thank you very much!
